THE FOURTH MEETING OF THE PROJECT
“ERASMUS OF ORGANIZED CIVIL SOCIETIES”

The Italian National Council for Economics and Labour (CNEL) is holding the Fourth Meeting of the Project “Erasmus of Organized Civil Societies” in Rome, Villa Lubin, on 27 and 28 June 2024 on the theme “The strategic rural development: the risk of depopulation of the countryside has serious consequences for the rural areas of the European Union".
The event will bring together participants from the European Economic and Social Committee, the Italian Institutions, local actors, experts in the sector and civil society organisations from the National Economic and Social Councils of EU countries. All European NESCs are warmly invited to a:end the meeting and join the Project to develop more European working methods on crucial topics of common interest; promote mutual direct knowledge and sharing of good practices; create a trans-European network also with the aim of acquiring in-depth skills in the sector of public policies and being able to offer innovative solutions in the respective national institutions.
To allow for the widest debate on the topic of the meeting, which will be developed in a working document prepared by CNEL and transmi:ed in advance, it is CNEL's intention to define the agenda of the work by providing for scheduled interventions by the European NESCs, which we invite to participate with their precious contribution.
