Article 99

Article 99 of the Constitution of the Italian Republic

The National Council for Economics and Labor is composed, in the ways established by law, of experts and representatives of the productive categories, taking into account their numerical and qualitative importance.

It is an advisory body to the Chambers and the Government for the matters and according to the functions attributed to it by law.

It has the right to legislative initiative [see art. 71 par. 1] and it can contribute to the drafting of economic and social legislation according to the principles and within the limits established by law
